How Much Does It Cost?

The Audi Q3 has three model variants, with the lineup kicking off at $47,600 for the entry-level Q3 35 TFSI, with the stylish Q3 35 TFSI Sportback priced from $50,450. The range moves to the Q3 40 TFSI and S Line and Sportback variants, which are priced around $55,200, $59,950 and $62,450 respectively. Finally, the range-topping Audi RSQ3 range is priced from $89,900 and $92,900 for the RSQ3 Sportback model.

What Features Does the Audi Q3 Have?

The entry-level Audi Q3 35 TFSI and Sportback models come with a number of tech and luxury features, like a set of 18-inch alloy wheels, adaptive LED headlights with a LED daytime running lamps, a 10.25-inch digital display for the driver and 10.1-inch infotainment system with DAB radio, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support, six-speaker audio system, Qi wireless phone charging, rear view camera, leather upholstery, dual-zone climate control, ambient lighting package, aluminium roof rails, powered boot lift, heated mirrors, hill descent control as well as Audi Connect Plus and a number of active safety features that we’ll cover later in this review.

Is it Comfortable to Drive?

The Audi Q3 offers a higher riding position than the car it is based on, giving the driver the benefits of a raised driving position in a relatively small package. Overall, the base model Q3 is a supremely comfortable compact SUV, and the flagship RSQ3’s adaptive damper system allows the driver to select the quality of the ride they’re looking for. The entry-level 35 TFSI has a modest power output, so if you’re looking to get up and moving quickly, you’re probably best suited for the 40 TFSI which receives a more powerful engine, but keep in mind that the economy figure will rise.

The cabin is extremely quiet, with Audi’s attention to driver and passenger comfort clearly on display. The smooth transmission takes care of the gears without a problem, offering seamless shifts that you’ll barely feel behind the wheel. Is it Practical and Spacious?

Audi is widely known as one of the leading manufacturers of comfortable, high-quality interiors, and the Q3 is no exception. The driver is treated to a large digital dashboard, while the passengers can use the entertainment and navigation on the 10.1-inch infotainment system housed in a sophisticated and modern interior aesthetic. The front of the cabin is extremely spacious, welcoming the driver and front passenger into a set of comfortable seats with a host of storage spots for loose items. A number of key safety features like the surround-view camera, semi-autonomous parking assist and adaptive cruise control, however, are reserved for the more expensive variants, so if you’re looking for a full safety suite, be prepared to pay extra.

Is it Fuel Efficient?

Audi’s Q3 range features three different engine options, with economy figures ranging from acceptable to moderately thirsty, compared to its competitors. The base, and most economical model, is rated at 7.2L per 100km, while the mid-range variant returns figures of 8.2L per 100km, and the range-topper rated at 8.9L per 100km. Considering there are a number of compact SUVs on the market that return figures anywhere.
